12/20/17 - SCGSAH to host celebration of life for Virginia Uldrick

The public is invited to a celebratory service honoring the life and work of Virginia Uldrick, founding president of the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities, who passed away in November. Presented by the Uldrick family, the program will be held on Sunday, January 7, in honor of Dr. Uldrick's 89th birthday, and will feature speakers Mayor Knox White and former U.S. Secretary of Education and South Carolina Governor Richard Riley. The S.C. Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities will host the service at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in the Smith Recital Hall on the school's campus at 15 University Street, Greenville, S.C., 29601.
