SCSGAH's Class of 2015, with support from the Governor's School for the Arts Foundation, set the record for the largest senior class gift ever donated by a graduating class with the establishment of a $100,000 endowed scholarship honoring retiring President Bruce Halverson. The Dr. Bruce Halverson Endowed Scholarship Fund will serve to provide financial assistance to emerging artists accepted to the residential high school program at SCGSAH.
Dr. Cedric Adderley, D.M.A., has been named the 4th President of the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities. A Columbia, S.C. native, Dr. Adderley comes to the Governor’s School from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, where he served as Dean of the College.
