For the sixth consecutive year, the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities (SCGSAH) earned an overall rating of “Excellent” on the State of South Carolina’s Annual School Report Card, released by the state’s Department of Education. Find out more here.
The SCGSAH Music Department presents a piano ensemble concert Thursday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Smith Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
Drama seniors from the South Carolina Governor’s school for the Arts and Humanities will present Miller’s America, an exploration of the work of America’s preeminent playwright, Arthur Miller. Actors will present selections from three of his best plays, All My Sons, A View from the Bridge, and The Crucible in rotating repertory in Sakas Theatre, November 19th - 23rd.
The Cantus Chamber Choir from South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities will accompany Grammy®-nominated singer Susan Boyle on stage in Greenville, SC during her first North American Tour. The event will take place at the Peace Center for Performing Arts on Monday, October 27 at 7:30 pm.
