We are ready to celebrate, there is no time to spare.  We're going bowling and we want you there!  Join us at Stone Pin from 6:30 pm- 8:30 pm for a fun filled evening hosted by the Foundation.  Lanes have been reserved and shoes have been rented!  There is no charge to attend this event but please RSVP to 

Saturday Morning Breakfast: Join us in the Welcome Center on Saturday morning before your Back to Class Session! This is a great opportunity to purchase a brick for the alumni walkway and get other valuable information on giving back for the Foundation.  There is no charge to attend this event but please RSVP to

Back to Class Sessions: Don’t just come back to see the new construction campus, be a student again! Mamie Morgan, Paul Yanko and some very talented Music alums will be on hand to offer classes on Saturday morning, and they want to see you there! Lunch on campus: Join faculty, staff, and other alums for a family friendly afternoon cookout in the courtyard. Games and children’s activities will be available.  Cost: $10 for adults, $7 for children.  Children under 5 eat free.

Curious about the construction happening on campus?  Do you want to know more about how Greenville's always changing downtown landscape will impact SCGSAH?  Join Dr. Adderley after lunch on the loggia to discuss SCGSAH and what the future holds. Open Mic: Check, one two...check.  Hosted by our Alumni Advisory Council members, our open Mic will give you the chance to perform in Smith Recital Hall one more time! This is open to alums from all arts areas. Bring pieces of art to show, work to perform, or just take a quick few minutes to share what you have been doing since graduation. Since this event will be hosted by our AAC members, we guarantee you will see some of them on stage!  Contact AAC Chair, Laura Nevitt at if you are interested in performing. 

An evening at the Warehouse: In conjunction with the Warehouse Theatre, we are offering an exciting two part evening event on August 4th.  Join us at 6:30 pm to celebrate the Class of 2008. Beer, wine, and hors d’ouvres will be served.  Tickets are $17 (includes two non alcoholic drink tickets) and $25 (includes two beer/wine tickets)

For the second part of the evening, we hope that you will join us at 8:00
pm and find inspiration in Beethoven’s only opera featuring the “Wonder Woman” of operatic heroines!  Fidelio is a beautiful and optimistic piece that captures the epic composer’s personal outlook on the struggle for liberty and justice he saw in Europe during his lifetime.  It follows the the courageous Lenore, whose journey to save her imprisoned husband reveals an undying love that glimmers through the darkness of oppression. Fidelio is a tale of how the dreams and persistence of one woman helped change the world. Tickets are $33 each. 
Looking for a convenient place to stay?  Don’t pay the high prices of a hotel room! Take a walk down memory lane and stay on campus.  Alumni are invited to relive their Govie experience by spending a night (or entire weekend) in the residence hall.
