The wood wind, brass, and percusson players from the Governor's School combine to present a concert of music by French composers. Included in the program will be works by Saint-Saens, Milhaud, Satie, and others. Dr. Caroline Ulrich, Principal Flute in the Greenville Symphony and Governor's School faculty member, will be featured in the Concertino for Flute by Cecile Chaminade. The Wind Ensemble is conducted by David Hamilton and will take place in the Peace Center's Gunter Theater.

Guest Artist Recital: Nicolas Duchamp, flute 7:30 pm

Duchamp, international soloist and Principal flutist of the Theatre Nationalde L'Opera-Comique in Paris, will present a recital in honor of the great French flutist and composer Philippe Gaubert. Duchamp will perform on the flute played by Gaubert. Will take place in Smith Recital Hall.
