Music Students to perform Winter Concert at Wade Hampton HIgh School

Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra and Wind Ensemble in concert Tuesday, December 8th
GREENVILLE, SC - After a busy semester of recitals, guest artists and an outreach performance tour in Aiken and surrounding areas, music students at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities will close 2009 with a winter concert at Wade Hampton High School.
The Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra and the Wind Ensemble will be in concert at 7:30 pm, Tuesday, December 8 in the auditorium of Wade Hampton High School, 100 Pine Knoll Drive. The concert is free and open to the public.
The program will include the Wind Ensemble's performance of Sonata Pian' e Forte by Giovanni Gabrieli, and The Second Suite in F for Military Band by Gustav Holst. The Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra will present The Overture to the Abduction from the Seraglio by W.A. Mozart, and the L'Arlesienne Suite No. 1 by Georges Bizet.
