South Carolina Governor's School music students' performance at the Greenwood Music Festival
SOUTH CAROLINA - May 23, 2011 - South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities (SCGSAH) music students, "Amici Strings" performed at the Greenwood Music Festival.
The "Amici Strings" includes Elizabeth Cooper, James Masanotti, Carolina Diaz, Megan Lewis, Christophe Beaumier and Daniel Baer. They were featured Friday, May 20, at the Greenwood Museum for the free performance.
The music festival, created by SCGSAH alumnus Keith Jameson, ran May 19 - May 23. Festival Highlights included: Soprano Siân Davies, Emerald Brass, pianist Mark Davies, Ensemble Radieuse, Trio of Flute, Oboe and Piano, and Atlanta's Peachtree Symphonic Winds. Greenwood native and Broadway star Nat Chandler also performed.
