NY based photographers Tribble & Mancenido visit Governor's School

James Frank Tribble is returning to South Carolina an internationally recognized artist.  He and his wife, Tracey Mancenido-Tribble, also an artist will speak about their current projects Hurry Up and Wait and Pillow Talk at the SC Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities (SCGSAH) at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2010 in Smith Recital Hall on the SCGSAH campus in Greenville.  The lecture is free and open to the public. 

Tribble is a 2002 graduate of the SC Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities located in Greenville, SC who also attended W. J. Keenan High School in Columbia. 

The couple live and work collaboratively on their artistic endeavors from New Jersey City, NJ and have been exhibited and published nationally and internationally.  Their work includes shows: at Centre Pompidou in Florence, Italy; in association with The Shanghai Art Museum; the Houston Center for Photography; Magenta's Flash Forward Festival in Toronto; PIP International Photo Festival in Pingyao, China; Host Gallery in London; Canteen Magazine and The New York Times.

The South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities is a public residential high school located in Greenville, SC, providing a unique arts and academic education to the state's emerging artists. Young artists usually in 11th or 12th grade study creative writing, dance, drama, music, or visual arts during the academic year and rising 9th and 10th grade students attend summer programs in these areas, with summer dance programs open to rising 7th through 12 grade students.
