PechaKucha Night

SCGSAH's Annual PechaKucha Night

Each Spring, Seniors put together a PechaKucha presentation for Humanities credit. The best presentations are selected for a celebrated Govie tradition: PechaKucha Night.

Ok, so how do you say it again?

PechaKucha is a three-syllable word: “pe-chak-cha”

What is it?

It translates from Japanese as (roughly) “chit-chat”

It’s a presentation of a passion, interest, hobby, theory, idea or practice

It has a very specific format: 20 images seen for 20 seconds each

It’s supposed to be fun
