Nancy Smith

Nancy Smith is a graduate of Furman University (BM) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (MCM) with a major in music education and piano performance. She joined the Governor’s School faculty in 2001 after having been on the music faculty of Furman University, where she was an instructor in piano and music theory. Ms. Smith is an Advanced Placement instructor for music theory and a reader for the College Board, working for the Educational Testing Service at the National AP Reading. In addition to her work at the Governor’s School, Ms. Smith is organist for Westminster Presbyterian Church and has several published collections of keyboard and choral music.
