Rebecca Evatt comes to the Governor’s School from the Pickens County Library System where she taught computer classes, provided Readers Reference services and help distribute library materials to home bound patrons, in addition to providing “story times” for preschoolers and toddlers.

Rebecca has a BA in Theatre from West Virginia Wesleyan College, an MFA in Acting from WVU and completed a two year program at the William Esper Studio for professional actors in New York City as well as studying Shakespearian Drama at NYU. She has performed professional voiceovers in cartoons and commercials and appeared in over 100 professional and community theatre productions since first appearing in The Sound of Music at age five. Rebecca also plays the bagpipes.
