Discovery Visual Arts

Overview

The Discovery Visual Arts curriculum consists of intensive, three hour studio sessions in several visual art areas over the duration of the program. These areas broadly include two and three dimensional design classes, and drawing, with rotating classes in sculpture, painting, printmaking and ceramics, depending on the faculty for a given summer. The curriculum also includes an art appreciation class in which students are exposed to examples of broad categories of artwork, and visit the Greenville County Museum of art.
