Giving

The Governor’s School for the Arts Foundation, Inc. has been enhancing excellence for our state’s emerging artists since 1985, when the organization was established to support the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities. The GSA Foundation works to expand the educational and cultural opportunities of talented students state-wide by opening doors to all that the School offers. Those who take part in these life-changing experiences return to enrich their communities in all facets of life. You can join us in making a difference in the lives of South Carolina’s young aspiring artists.

The Governor’s School for the Arts Foundation, Inc. provides several options to designate gifts:

ANNUAL FUND

Advocates for Arts and Education (AAE) provides recognition to individuals and corporations who support the GSA Foundation with annual gifts of $1,000 or more. Year-end giving is also a wonderful way to contribute to the annual fund.

MEDICI SOCIETY

The Medici Society offers an opportunity for parents, alumni and friends to support the daily mission and goals of our nationally ranked School. Membership of the Medici Society comes with a donation at any level.

ENDOWMENT FUND

Donors interested in establishing endowed funds have an array of possibilities at their disposal. The following offers a basic overview of suggestions for various naming opportunities. The suggestions presented by no means complete the list of options, and we encourage you to contact the GSA Foundation to discuss these opportunities and more.
