National Honor Society
The purpose of the Governor's School chapter of the National Honor Society is to recognize students who have excelled in scholarship and demonstrated a commitment to the principles of service, leadership, and character. Students are expected to continue to demonstrate these principles as members, to participate in NHS meetings, and to document at least five hours of community service each semester. Membership in this chapter is an honor bestowed upon deserving students by the faculty and is to be based on the criteria of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
