Residential High School Admissions

Admission to the public residential high school is based primarily on artistic potential and ability. The application form outlines audition requirements for each of the arts disciplines. A grade review is also conducted. Students applying should have a 2.5 average or higher.

Applications require artistic and academic teacher recommendations. Academic recommendations should be completed by a teacher who has taught the student in the past term, and artistic recommendations can be submitted by a school arts teacher, community or professional director or educator, church fine arts or music director, or any other professional who has knowledge of the student’s commitment and talent.

All applicants who send in materials by the deadline will be scheduled for an audition appointment. After the initial due date, applications may continue to be accepted on a space-available basis.
