South Carolina is home to two outstanding high schools for gifted and talented students.

There are two Governor’s Schools in our state—the SC Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities and the SC Governor's School for Science and Math. Both are two-year, public, residential high school programs offering exceptionally talented and gifted juniors and seniors the opportunity to live and thrive, tuition-free, in their areas of academic or artistic interest. Governor’s School graduates go on to attend the country’s top colleges, universities, and conservatories and become part of an elite, professional network.

Learn more about the Governor's Schools at the Two Paths to the Top joint information sessions, open to all interested students and families.
