The Lowcountry Youth Dance Academy is a S.C. Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities Outreach Program offering free pre-professional ballet training to 6th through 10th grade students in the Lowcountry region.  Our physically demanding yet rewarding program offers a systematic approach to classical ballet, ensuring technical and artistic growth for serious and passionate students.

Classes are held at Impact Creative Arts Academy in Summerville, meeting four times weekly, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays during the 2018-2019 school year.

To be considered for the Lowcountry Youth Dance Academy, students must audition. While there is no tuition fee, there is a one-time registration fee of $75 for accepted students. Audition information will be posted soon.
