For students and families interested in the Governor’s School, there are many opportunities to visit our campus!

Learn more about the Governor’s School and tour campus on a Govie Saturday, beginning this fall! Group tours and information sessions will be held on the following dates and times:
- November 23
- December 7
- March 28
- May 2
Tours: 9:30 & 11:30 a.m.
Information Session: 10:30 a.m.
- First Look
Saturday, November 2
First Look is the best opportunity for prospective parents and students who have not yet had a chance to visit our beautiful campus in downtown Greenville to tour our facilities and learn about everything the Governor's School has to offer South Carolina's young artists.
At this free event, guests can attend information sessions and demonstrations by our five art areas — Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Music, and Visual Arts.
- Student Shadowing
Those eligible to apply for the residential high school program can experience “a day in the life” of a Govie by shadowing a current student - attending academic and art classes, meeting faculty and peers, and eating lunch in the dining hall.
October is Shadowing Month. To learn more, contact Admissions at firstname.lastname@example.org. Music students have shadowing opportunities from October through March.
Guided tours are offered Monday through Thursday on a limited basis during the school year by appointment. Reservations are required at least one week in advance.
