Fees & Payments

The Residential High School is tuition-free. Accepted students only pay a non-refundable deposit for the residence hall and a meal plan fee.

Summer program tuition is based on the number of weeks the program runs. Payments can be made online using the buttons below, or by check and money orders made payable to "SCGSAH" addressed to the Office of Finance, 15 University Street, Greenville, SC 29601. Please include the student's name and summer program name in the memo line. Financial assistance is available for all programs.

1-Week Sessions

• Total Tuition (includes Non-Refundable Fee): $800
• Non-Refundable Fee: $200 (Due 2 weeks after admissions offer.)
• Tuition: $600 (Due 4 weeks before program's start date.)

2-Week Sessions

• Total Tuition (includes Non-Refundable Fee): $1,400
• Non-Refundable Fee: $200 (Due 2 weeks after admissions offer.)
• Tuition: $1,200 (Due 4 weeks before program's start date.)

5-Week Sessions

• Total Tuition (includes Non-Refundable Fee): $2,800
• Non-Refundable Fee: $200 (Due 2 weeks after admissions offer.)
• Tuition: $2,600 (Due 4 weeks before program's start date.)

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is provided by the Governor's School Foundation, a private nonprofit organization, and is available to South Carolina residents. No student is denied entrance based on the inability to pay the fees listed. Learn more about Financial Assistance.

If you are applying for Financial Assistance, we advise that you wait until after financial assistance awards are distributed to pay your balance.

Fines, damages, or losses can be paid online or by cash, check, or money order. Checks and money orders should be made payable to and addressed to the appropriate department at 15 University St, Greenville, SC 29601. Include the student's name and what the payment is for in the memo line.
