SCGSAH Alumni Day is Saturday, April 5. Spend a day on campus with other alumni to reconnect and relive the Govie experience!
The Alumni Day schedule is designed to offer a mix of engaging activities to reconnect graduates with our school. We are excited to partner with the Creative Writing, Film and Music departments to include alumni in a variety of sessions with current students focusing on the themes of the Arts in Basic Curriculum framework: Defining Culture, Inspiring Creativity and Making Connections.
Morning sessions will be followed by a lunch and networking event at Gather GVL, providing attendees with the perfect opportunity to connect and engage. After lunch, an afternoon dessert reception will be held, along with a Q&A session featuring Dr. Adderley, offering a chance for in-depth discussion and insights. To close out the day, alumni will be invited back to campus at 7:30 p.m. to attend a special Drama presentation, rounding out an enriching and exciting series of events. Tickets to the drama presentation are free of charge but must be reserved in advance.

- 10-10:55 a.m. - Session 1
- 11-11:55 a.m. - Session 2
- 12-1:30 p.m. - Lunch & Networking at Gather GVL
- 2-3 p.m. - Session 3
- 3 p.m. - Alumni Reception, Loggia
- 4 p.m. - Q&A session with Dr. Adderley
- 7:30 p.m. - Studio IV Drama performance. Tickets must be reserved in advance.
- The Lipscomb Gallery will be open throughout the day featuring an alumni exhibit by Kymberly Day ('09) and Glory Day Loflin ('10).
