Anneka Zuehlke-King currently serves as Principal Horn of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, Principal of the Spartanburg Philharmonic, as well as Third Horn of the Asheville Symphony Orchestra. On her free weeks, Anneka also performs with the Charlotte Symphony, the Hendersonville Symphony, the GAMAC Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra Augusta. She is also a member of several chamber ensembles, including Triptych Musica, the West End Brass Quintet and the Converse Faculty Wind Quintet. In addition to teaching horn at the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, Anneka is the Adjunct Horn teacher at Converse College and Furman University. Anneka is proud to have studied with Sylvia Alimena in high school, Myron Bloom and Jerome Ashby at the Curtis Institute of Music where she received her Bachelor’s of Music, and William Purvis when studying for her Master’s from the Yale School of Music.
