Events

The fall concert will include John Beck’s rousing Overture for Percussion Ensemble, reminiscent in style of romantic-era opera overtures; Phonetiks, by Ron Delp, with many different sounds of bells, triangles and cymbals all interacting using very complex rhythms; Aram Khatchaturian’s Sabre Dance with its usual high intensity; and closing with Vic Firth’s famous Encore in Jazz.
