Karen Davis joined the Governor's School in August 2011. She is a graduate the University of Arizona where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. From there she earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Education degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Prior to moving to South Carolina, Ms. Davis lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she worked with adolescents and adults providing inpatient and outpatient mental health/substance abuse services. Ms. Davis is also the proud parent of a GOVIE graduate (2016), Matisyn. She can often be found gardening, running on the Swamp Rabbit Trail with her dog, Myo, and traveling with her husband, Eric.
