The South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities (SCGSAH) communicates with its community members via voice, text, and email messaging. This page outlines the interactive functions available through our SMS texting service.

To receive text messages, community members must sign up for the service. Actively enrolled students and their parents/guardians are automatically sent a one-time opt-in SMS request upon enrollment, while employees receive the opt-in request at the time of hire. Alternatively, individuals in the United States can subscribe at any time by texting SUBSCRIBE to 67587.

SCGSAH uses SMS for important school-related communications. Please note that message and data rates may apply, and the frequency of messages will depend on your affiliation with the school. Emergency alert services using SMS text messaging are supported only in the U.S.
