During this intensive two-week program, driven musicians grow their artistry, knowledge, and confidence through:
► Private lessons, master classes, and chamber music
► Classes in music theory, music history, and conducting
► Guidance from experienced performers, teachers, and scholars
► A performance at the end of the program
How to Apply & Audition
Students apply in 9th grade to attend in the summer following 9th grade. An online application process, which includes demographic and arts information, must be completed to be considered for admission. The online application portal will be used to request recommendations and upload other required materials.
Music applicants are required to submit a video audition with the application. Select piano and percussion applicants may be asked to submit a sight reading video.
Highly talented 9th grade instrumentalists may apply for the Instrumental Early Admission (IEA) program. Learn more about the IEA program.
