Thurayya UmBayemake

Thurayya UmBayemake is our Coaching Teacher, with a background as a Teaching Artist that spans over ten years. She formally co-founded and ran Ma’Sue Theatre Company (in Ohio) that focused on African American stories. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama Studies from South Carolina State University, and a post-graduate certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Akron. In her spare time, Thurayya enjoys staying active with walks, yoga, and crafts. She values being a part of her community and enjoys local events.
