Devenie Cooke

Devenie Cooke was born and raised in the Golden State of California. Her school days were filled with theatre productions as well as music and writing. Devenie went on to study Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Acting at American River College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English at California State University, Sacramento. Before moving to South Carolina, Devenie was a Substitute Teacher for the fifth largest school district in California and worked for Cosumnes Community and Services District in administration. She began working with the Governor's School for Arts & Humanities 2023 as Administrative Assistant for Student Services.
