SCGSAH Announces 2022 Scholastic Art & Writing regional winners

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious scholarship and recognition program for creative teens in grades 7-12. This year, many Creative Writing and Visual Arts students from the SC Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities received recognition in the Southeast Region-at-Large competition. Collectively, these young artists received 65 awards, including 14 gold keys, 22 silver keys, 25 honorable mention awards, and 1 American Voices Nominee award.

Student work that received Gold Keys and the American Voices nomination will continue on to be judged at the national level for the opportunity to win scholarships worth $10,000 and recognition at the national ceremony in New York City. National winners will be announced later this spring.
