Merideth Hite Estevez, Class of 2002
Oboist Dr. Merideth Hite Estevez has performed and taught throughout North and South America, Asia, and Europe. Recently appointed as Associate Professor of Oboe at University of Delaware, Hite Esteves is an active freelancer and sought-after recitalist. Orchestrally, she is currently the English hornist for the Chamber Orchestra of NY, and has also performed with PhillyPOPS, OperaDelaware, Metropolitan Opera (NYC), American Symphony (NYC) as well as innovative shows with cutting-edge groups like Experiential Orchestra (NYC). Her education has taken her all over the world—Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Yale School of Music, Fulbright Scholar to Germany, and to The Juilliard School where she received her doctorate in oboe.
Caleb Vaughn-Jones, Class of 2003
Cellist Caleb Vaughn-Jones received his training from the Peabody Institute and went on to found Regulus Sound Productions, which has produced music for companies like Firaxis Games and Sapthaa Records (India). As a soloist, Vaughn-Jones has recorded for several video games including Civilization V and VI, and for movies like Leprechaun Returns. As a performer, he regularly appears in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, and the Library of Congress. In recent years, he has performed as a soloist with the Free State Symphony Orchestra and the Eastern Cape Philharmonic in South Africa. As an educator, Vaughn-Jones has led masterclasses with students of the Eastern Cape Philharmonic Orchestra's Music Investment Project, Juilliard Jazz Camp, Boys and Girls Club of Great Washington, Nelson Mandela University (South Africa), and the South African National Youth Orchestra. Maggie Gould Wilson, Class of 2008
Originally from South Carolina, Maggie Gould Wilson received her Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University in Chicago and holds a Masters in Arts Management and Entrepreneurship from The New School. She has played in orchestras and chamber groups across the Americas and Europe, including Royal Albert Hall at the BBC Proms, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center. Gould Wilson led the violin performance for the 2019 Met Gala in collaboration with Baz Luhrmann and performed in the 2018 Grammys alongside Lady Gaga and Patti Lupone. She recently collaborated with Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Hugh Jackman, and Elvis Costello, among many others. Passionate about teaching, Gould Wilson was awarded a Global Leaders Fellowship with the Orchestra of the Americas and is the founder of NYC's Suzuki-based group class program, Bow & Heart.
Zach Dellinger, Class of 2003
Zach Dellinger graduated from the Eastman School of Music. As a regular studio musician in Los Angeles, Dellinger has played on over 250 major motion pictures including Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Transformers. Dellinger can be heard on many television shows like Empire, Agents of Shield, and Luke Cage. Dellinger has also performed at the Grammys with Adele and Pharell Williams, as well as doing a West Coast Tour with Hans Zimmer. As a Chamber musician, Dellinger recorded with the California String Quartet performing the Tanev String Quartet No. 2, produced by award winning composer, John Powel. Dellinger has also appeared in concert with the Lyris Quartet and the Calidore Quartet. As an orchestral musician, Dellinger acted as principal viola of the internationally acclaimed Colburn Orchestra, the Santa Barbara Symphony, and has also played with the Pittsburgh Symphony and Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.
Robert Young, Class of 2002
Robert Young is a graduate from the University of South Carolina and received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Michigan. He served as the Assistant Professor of Saxophone at Wichita State University in Kansas and The Crane School of Music in New York. Currently, Young serves as the Assistant Professor of Saxophone at the University of the North Carolina School of the Arts.
