For artists-at-heart seeking to explore their talents in an arts-immersive experience.

Summer residential students explore and refine their talents while experiencing the challenges and rewards of intensive arts training. Our programs are led by practicing artists who are dedicated to nurturing creative potential and conclude with end-of-session recitals, readings, and presentations showcasing students' work.  

Arts Odyssey Program
Rising 8th & 9th-Graders
June 16 - 22  /  June 23 - 29

A one-week program for rising eighth and ninth grade students interested in concentrating in Creative Writing, Drama, Music, or Visual Arts. While they work intensely in their art area, students are also exposed to the other art areas with opportunities to attend performances and guest lectures. Students apply in 7th and 8th grade, and South Carolina residency is required. Total cost to attend is $500, and financial assistance is available.

Academy Program
Rising 10th-Graders
July 7 - 20, 2019

A two-week program for rising tenth-grade students who desire intensive training in Creative Writing, Drama, Music, or Visual Arts (including Animation Studies). The curriculum incorporates studio work, self-directed studies, performance, field trips, lectures and presentations by faculty and guest artists. Students apply in 9th grade, and South Carolina residency is required. Total cost to attend is $950, and financial assistance is available.

Summer Dance Program
Rising 7th-12th-Graders
June 16 - July 20, 2019

Intensive five-week training in ballet for rising 7-12th-grade students (must be at least 12 years old by June 1, 2019, to attend). Students apply in 6th-11th grade, and South Carolina residency is not required for this program. Total cost to attend is $2,100, and financial assistance is available (for S.C. residents only).
