Uchechi Kalu, Class of 2010
Uchechi Kalu attended Princeton University, during which time she traveled and studied in Jordan, Morocco, Egypt, Israel and Palestine. Since graduation, she has used her intellect and training as an artist to be a social activist for underserved populations in China and throughout the world. Kalu is the Founder of Outlier Admissions, an organization that consults with South Carolina State University Honors College to improve graduate school admissions and job interview skills.
Jedd Rosche, Class of 2005
Jedd Rosche graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. After a stint as a writer at Politico, he is now the breaking news editor for CNNPolitics.com.
Sammi Bryan, Class of 2009
Sammi Bryan lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama as a recent graduate from The University of Alabama where she earned an M.F.A. in Poetry and a Masters in Library Information Science. She has served as an Associate Editor and Poetry Editor for Black Warrior Review, as well as Editor of the Fox Boyfriend issue of the journal's online edition, Boyfriend Village. In 2017, she attended The Squaw Valley Community of Writers to study with poet laureates Robert Hass and Sharon Olds. In 2018, she received Honorable Mention in the AWP Intro Journal Awards for her poem "& The Dirt." Her work can be found in The Offing, Washington Square Review, Territory, NightBlock, The Blueshift Journal, and elsewhere. While she's currently pursuing her passion for librarianship as a Public Librarian, she continues to consume poetry and write daily.
