Nikki Parton

Nikki Parton received her Bachelor’s degree in Music from Presbyterian College, her teacher certification through PACE, and she is a National Board Certified Teacher in Music. Before joining the SCGSAH admissions team in 2014, she worked in college admissions for six years, and taught middle school band and chorus in SC public schools for eight years. 

Her passion for the arts began at a young age, beginning with piano lessons at age four, and continued throughout high school and college with band, chorus and drama. During her time as a teacher, Nikki enjoyed recruiting students for band and chorus. “The arts are not just electives; they are life skills that students take with them into adulthood and that help them relate to the world and people around them.”
