This summer, join the SC Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities for an experiential, professional learning opportunity led by our Spark leadership and teaching team.

This FREE summer intensive will focus on arts integrated, drama-based skills and strategies that promote literacy through creative inquiry and standards-based learning

Participants will:

  • Earn 20 hours of professional training toward certificate renewal
  • Take away ready to implement, reading-based, arts integration strategies, lesson ideas, and activities applicable to just about any area of content
  • Leave with learning materials and resources for your classroom and students
  • Engage with your creativity, and develop new ways of thinking about and envisioning content delivery and facilitation in your classroom

Who

FREE to elementary classroom teachers, literacy specialists, media specialists, and other elementary educators interested in easy to implement, arts integrated, literacy and book-centered drama strategies that ANY TEACHER CAN DO. No prior experience in drama is needed!

Registration is limited to 20 participants.
