Studio IV Performance: Talk to Me Like the Rain

Tennessee Williams was an innovative and poetic playwright whose plays and characters forever changed American Theatre. As one critic stated, “We cannot imagine a time (his masterpieces) didn’t exist.” Drama seniors will interpret and present short works from this two-time Pulitzer Prize winner as they strive to extend their scholarship, creativity, and technique.

This production will include pieces of the following one-acts: The Lady of Larkspur Lotion, 27 Wagons Full of Cotton, This Property is Condemned, Kingdom of Earth, Auto Da Fe, and Talk to Me Like the Rain...and Let Me Listen.

Performances will be held on November 21-23 at 7:30 p.m. and November 24 a 2 p.m. Drama Department productions are free and take place in the Sakas Theatre on the Governor’s School campus. Reservations are required and can be made the week prior to show opening by calling 864.282.3737.
