The Governor’s School offers a free, virtual two-day summer retreat for Visual Arts Teachers.

During this retreat, teachers will - 

  • Learn how to help students build sketchbook development strategies.
  • Fine tune effective critique and feedback skills.
  • Participate in activity and discussion-based experiences.
  • Receive professional development certificates upon successful completion.

Participants will need internet access and microphone/camera.

About the SCGSAH Visual Arts Program

Designed by professional, practicing artists, the Visual Arts Program offers young artists the opportunity to develop conceptual and creative skills as well as the discipline and confidence to investigate their own self-expression.
